During my time with Workday, I wrote a document entitled “Tip of the Iceberg: An Introduction to the OS X Command Line”. My goal was so to assist in the training of Jr. admins by providing them with greater depth and understanding of the OS X, UNIX, and Linux command line.

I am providing these documents here so anyone can learn these basic fundamentals. These documents do not assume any prior knowledge or experience of the command line on the reader’s behalf.
